Roger Fingas has lived and operated in Ottawa, Canada since 1979. His credentials include a degree in Film Studies from Carleton University, as well as special photography training from Algonquin College and the Ottawa School of Art. He has worked in photography since 2006; beyond images, his contributions have included writing for MacNN, Electronista and Monitor Magazine.
Roger's philosophy is that every shoot is an opportunity to meet someone new - someone with a unique history, their own special traits. Prefering to work on-location, Roger also feels it's best to approach clients on a personal basis, since it's the personal touch that makes an image stand out. This brings with it an unshakable sense of responsibility, born of the idea that everyone deserves the most polished images they can get.
